Hi, Marcus. It seems Poincaré helped to prove Dreyfus's innocence. He, along with other mathematicians, demonstrated how Dreyfus calligraphy couldn't be the one of the German spy. It was a case solved by probability equations. Even before his arrest Poincaré argued that there was no scientific proofs against Dreyfus.
